More About MeThis is always so difficult, writing about oneself; guys always lead off with work and then on to personality traits. So here goes: I spent a 23 year career in business development both nationally and internationally for Microsoft. I took an early retirement package and returned 18 months ago from the UK where I lived for five years to look after my aging parents and to reconnect with my two boys 29 and 23. I have sense moved in with my father, my mother passed away quite unexpectedly in May. He is 82 and has Alzheimer’s and dementia, so my new role is care-giver. I also lived in Dublin (this was in early 90’s when U2 was still a pub band) and Brussels where I was eventually deported but that is another story. My service areas over the years have been Europe, Middle East, Africa as well as Asia / Pacific regions so you name it have been there, and enjoyed the adventure, so as a conversationalist lots to share in this regard. I take on consultation projects as a independent contractor for Microsoft, this keeps me busy, but I am the master of own time and where I spend it.: now to the personality. To give you an Idea of the type of projects / work I take on, I just returned after a month in Ankara Turkey as well as Amman Jordan as a contractor though MS for USAid putting in a logistical communications network for the refugee camps there caused by the civil war in Syria. I still posses that wanderlust but want to localize it a bit, being a native Oregonian I am ashamed to admit I have never been to Crater Lake, BUT not up to any more globe trotting for fun, however I still need to see Athens, Rome and Prague, missed those places for some reason. I am house broken, a neat-freak both in and out of doors, know my way around the kitchen, wine cellar and if need be a fully stocked bar (was a bar tender working my though college). I enjoy almost everything but Curry, Rap and C & W, therefore easy to please. I am well read, well traveled (obviously) and well schooled. As a companion you will find I am very agreeable to most things but am willing to say no rather than be miserable.
